30th May 2014
Social Sciences Summer 2014
As you know, changes to A Levels mean that
there will be no resit or A2 examinations in January 2015. This means that
some structural changes will be made and your course trajectory will run differently
from that in previous years. Changes implemented are designed to ensure that those made at Government level have
a positive impact on your final A2 grade.
On your return to GCE teaching on Monday 9th June 2014 please ensure
that you come to all lessons fully
prepared for the commencement of A2 teaching in all social science subjects.
Given the volume of work, I suggest you have a separate file for each module.
Preparatory general reading in your chosen subjects this week will help to broaden your perspective and is strongly recommended. If you are not already a member, please use this time to join Ceredigion Library and the National Library, where there are excellent and up-to-date resources.
